Most whisks ship with 60 prongs. At that count the tines are too coarse to break surface tension properly — you glumps, not suspension. 100 prongs at matcha grade means the powder disperses fully on the first pass. Black bamboo was chosen over standard bamboo for density: the prongs hold their curve longer under daily use and don't shed into the drink.

Whisk in rapid W motion. Rinse cold immediately. Do not submerge. Replace when prongs split.
