01 · Shipping Zones and Rates

Shipping costs are calculated and confirmed at checkout before payment. Delivery times are estimates, not guarantees.
02 · Dispatch
Orders are dispatched within 2 working days of placement. You will receive a dispatch confirmation email with a tracking reference when your order leaves us.
We are not responsible for delays caused by carriers, customs, or events outside our control.
03 · Carriers
We ship via Royal Mail for most UK and international orders, using a tracked service. For larger shipments we may use a courier. All orders are sent with tracking.
Tracking information is emailed to you on dispatch. Track your order at the Royal Mail or carrier website using the reference provided.
04 · International Orders — Customs and Duties
Orders shipped outside the UK may be subject to import duties, customs fees, and local taxes levied by the destination country. These charges are the responsibility of the recipient and are not included in our prices or shipping costs. We have no control over them and cannot predict their amount.
We declare all shipments honestly with accurate customs values. We do not mark goods as gifts or undervalue shipments.
Since Brexit, UK shipments to the EU are treated as imports. EU customers may incur VAT and duties at their local rate. If your order is held by customs, contact your local customs authority.
05 · Lost or Damaged Parcels
If your tracked parcel shows as delivered but has not arrived: check with neighbours and any safe locations first, then contact us within 14 days of the expected delivery date at orders@ryeapothecary.com. We will raise an investigation with the carrier and, where appropriate, send a replacement or issue a refund.
If your parcel arrives damaged: photograph the damage before opening fully, then email us within 7 days of delivery. We will arrange a replacement or refund.
We are not liable for parcels confirmed as delivered to the correct address that are subsequently stolen. If you have concerns about delivery security, please use an alternative delivery address.
